Over the past few years the quality of terrain that has become available, whether it is kits to be assembled, or with 3D printing, has just been astounding.
I was just setting some of my Boxer Rebellion stuff out on a Saturday afternoon, so I could admire it and plan for a future game.
Some is from Sarissa, some from Knights of Dice, some Adrian's Walls and some Pandem Wargaming.
There is no way I could ever have scratch built this sort of thing. But using spray cans and dry brushing- even someone with my limited ability can make them look good!

Lovely, that could easily find its way to a wargame show and be a real crowd pleaser.
ReplyDeleteLooks fantastic
ReplyDeleteAmazing, just looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteThat's some very impressive scenery John. You have done a very nice job on the paintwork, too.
ReplyDeleteWow, that does look really good. I love what 3d printing has done for wargames tables. But I still remember fondly the huge handmade walls etc that we played over a number of years ago.
ReplyDeleteYes the quality of printing is great its opened up a whole new world to players. But the next thing is safe storage space... its all just too tempting...where do we put it all safely...3d print a shed scaled 1:1 ? LOL
