After Chris P had walked us through Sword and Spear earlier this year, I put on a game in Spyros' gaming room to show off our home grown set. It was a good game - Republican Romans vs the Carthaginians and an interesting game it was too...although to be honest..it was a while ago and I can't remember the results. I think it was a very close run thing with the Romans just getting across the line!
This is a fine looking battle array, John. Is there a mix of Impetvs and non-Impetvs sized bases on the table?
ReplyDeleteThanks JF- All the units are Impetus bases. The ones that are smaller are the generals.
DeleteWonderful looking Ancients gaming with beautifully painted troops!
ReplyDeleteThanks Dean!
DeleteI do like a board with lots of figures. It opens up lots more possibilities. I love the elephants...really well painted. I wonder if the Japanese had elephants at Tarawa....NO. ohh well. Burma next stop...LOL Great stuff.
ReplyDeleteMe too GW. After you've done Tarawa, Burma might be worth a crack!
DeleteLOL ...please do not start my brain on anything else - it will explode. I am doing some more SNLF at the moment...another 60+.(and then I will use the spares in dug in positions) .I do like this box as you get an extra 30 heads per box. mmmm Burma you say...LOL
