Indian Mutiny Artillery.

I had some time the other day to dig some bits and pieces out that I haven't seen in a while- and it has been a very long time since these were last on the table. I used to play a lot of Indian Mutiny and had both sides. I forgot that I had so much British artillery! It's a  shame such nice pieces have sat in a box for over 10 years!! So I figured it was time to get them out. They've been rebased and are ready to go!

  2. Plenty of atmosphere with these guns John. I like the feel and the impression of oppressive heat of the Indian terrain given by placing the artillery amongst scorched grass, cork bark and trees. I have a small collection of Mutineer Miniatures Indian Mutiny figures which I may just give a run out with Flashman leading the charge. Nice stuff. Aye, Rusty

  3. Thanks Rusty...funny you should mention Flashman! I was reading Flashman and the Mountain of Light about the Sikh Wars....and they prompted me to start digging out my old Indian Mutiny stuff. There's loads of it. And as gaming chances have been a bit slow...I'm photographing old figures!

  4. Hey John. Love those. Can you tell me about the kinds of artillery I'd need for this? Looking for 15mm artillery for the Indian Mutiny and trying to find the right guns. I know British guns were better than Mutineer guns, which tended to use stone shot and lit fuses rather -- so older models. I'm at brianjenglish@gmail.com if you wouldn't mind dropping an email. Lovely stuff, by the way. What make are the figs?

    1. Brian My apologies for the very late reply! They are wargames foundry. Try Dixon for a 15mm range. I have also left a message on your email as requested.
